Do you cook a favorite meal on Halloween evening? My parent usually serve chili hot dogs to the neighbors. I don't have a "Halloween tradition" yet. However, I am leaning towards good ol' Macaroni and Cheese.I went searching online and foudn Paula Deen's "Creamy Macaroni and Cheese" recipe, so I had to share that with you. It's not much different from mine except for the can of soup. Check it out here: http://recipes.pauladeen.com/index.php/recipes/view/creamy_macaroni_and_cheese/.
For dessert, we will have these Pumpkin Cookies. I made them on Wednesday, and wasn't expecting much, BUT OH MY!! Here's the cookie recipe:

You have such great ideas for meals and desserts. No Halloween tradition for meals, but tonight I am passing out jello shots to adults for trick or treat night.
It's friday, in our house that means pizza night...so pizza it will be, but hey it will be so easy and fast clean up to get us out the door faster for some trick or treating!
We eat reeces cups for dinner!!!
We're usually already out at our downtown's Halloween Festival during dinner so no traditional meal's here. That'll change in a few years. Have a Happy Halloween!!
No Halloween traditions at this stage, but I am definitely going to hold onto the idea!!!
We do chili with the neighbors before trick or treating. And we have appetizers to pick at while we meet up with friends, pack and load our wagons and coolers, and take pictures etc. ...before heading out for the night.
We have yet to fall into a Halloween tradition but we are having pizza tonight:)
Happy Halloween!!! And Boo - stop by my place to pick up your boo pic and see how to boo others!
Yum!!! We had chili and it was so good!!
Dear Superior Scribbler: Sorry for the "canned" and unrelated nature of this comment, but I wanted to get to as many of you tonite as possible. One of the things that we at Scholastic Scribe are most proud of is the Silly Sunday Sweepstakes. Several of you are already familiar with the arbitrary and quite inane weekly attempt at humor...for you, and for those of you who have not yet played Sx3, I urge you to drop by Sunday to see what's up. Oh, and congrats on being named a SS. You earned it!
