Did I Miss Thanksgiving?

I know, well thought, Halloween was just two days ago, but when I read today's paper, I saw ads for toys, Christmas trees, and Holiday candy. Did I miss Thanksgiving? Even the "Money" section of the paper gave tips on Christmas shopping. Hmm, maybe I gained more than an extra hour--perhaps an extra month--on this new time change, because Thanksgiving seems to be gone. Sad, sad, sad.

found you through momisodes blog. I have to say, this whole Christmas come earlier and earlier advertising schtick is out of control. I was buying stuff at a local Home Depot style store in MID OCTOBER and I swear they were playing Christmas music. Unbelievable.

I totally agree although will be guilty of listening to Christmas music as soon as the radio stations start playing it. Then I'll be sick of it by Christmas!

I agree...let's enjoy the Fall holidays first then think Christmas. A local radio station went all Christmas 24 hours as of October 31st...nuts. I took them off my preset...not ready for Christmas tunes quite yet.

I have to disagree about the music, but I do like Thanksgiving. The food mostly :) but I could listen to Christmas music all year. It reminds me that we should celebrate Jesus all year anyway!!

Target was playing Christmas music today. And not in the Christmas section. So not ready for it yet. Not even ready to get ready.

Speak it woman. Speak it! I understand a retailer's point of view but seriously?

It was almost as bad as having the Halloween stuff coming in some of the stores after the 4th of July.

Come on folks, lemme live one day at a time and enjoy the holidays mmmmkay?
