Me and Blogging

I love blogging; I've done it for a long time now. And I love catching up with you all. But lately, I just don't seem to have time. Between migraines, keeping the kids busy this summer and my "real" job, I feel that I have been neglecting many of you. I used to find pelasure in blogging and now it feels like more pressure. Anyone else out there go through this "rut"?

It's summer. We are all busy. I still do it, because it gives me some time to clear my mind.

I like to read other people's blogs, because I always leave them with a smile too..

It's definitely a busier time of year...don't feel bad...I try to read when I have the time but I'm afraid writing on my own blog has taken a back seat to life and having fun in the sun.

At our mini-blogger meetup on Saturday, we were talking about this too. I think this is common for summer-people are gone/busy/whatever! I hope you are feeling better :)

I think a lot of people are going through that, me included. One thing I did which relieved a lot of pressure was only post 2-3/week down from everyday like I had been doing. Not only does it cut down on the time I have to post but it cuts down on responding and visiting all who have visited me. Try that 1st. Then see how you feel.

Sometimes you have to take a break. Or change the rules. Stop posting every day, or start posting more! Cover some things you normally don't. Do a series? Interview someone? Get inspired!!!

Yep! But as long as you don't delete your blog, it's always there to post to...whenever your little heart desires. Remember: You own the blog. It doesn't own you. ~Nards~

I am feeling that NOW! I just feel so busy and wonder if I should be doing something "more productive." I used to blog at work but have been busier lately so unable to do that as much. I certainly don't like having to take home time for blogging.
