Ideas Needed: Anniversary Trip

In January, hubby and I will celebrate our FIFTH wedding anniversary. We never had a real honeymoon so want to celebrate this milestone, but we need help deciding where to go!

First, I don't like snow so skiing is out.
Second, I won't do a cruise (motion sickness).
Third, we may wait until February or March when the weather is better.
Last, we are thinking 4 to 5 days.

So, help me decided. We have thought about Napa, Phoenix or San Diego. Perhaps NYC or Boston. I'd love to hear ideas from you!

Well, NYC is a must if you have never been. If you like horses and want something closer then there is a beautiful horse farm/guest ranch in GA. But then again, you are going to GA now and probably want something a little more special.

A B&B in Maine or Cape Cod sounds wonderful too! But it would be really cold in Feb. It's more of a Fall place.

I think somewhere northeast would be super fun. I LOVE Boston. And, since you're close, you could skip on over to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket!

My husband and I married in San Francisco and then honeymooned in Napa. Loved it there.

Are you opposed to Mexico? You would likely pay less to go there than these other options.....do an all inclusive and be stress free. We go there as much as we can!

It's no secret how I feel about Mexico, and Casey is so right...You can get a super checp, nice vacation for the money. The Royal in Playa del Carmen is an awesome deal!

Are you actually going to get on an airplane???? I vote for San Fran and Napa Valley. I love that area. I would do a couple of days in Napa and a couple of days in the city. I have never been to Mexico but it sounds great too. And I have always wanted to go to Martha's Vinyard but I would save that for the summer time.

San Diego or NYC. If you go to SF, you can always take a day or two at Napa.

I know you said a cruise was out, but we just did Disney, and it was great! Hubby and I don't get away without the kids often, but we love Savannah.

Of your list San Diego or NYC would be my choice. But I yearn for a mexican vacation...all inclusive...yeah baby! lol.
