What makes an 11-hour car ride a 14- hour car ride!?
Yes, a flat tire! Fortunately, it happened in a populated area on the interstate (right near an exit ramp!) and not in the middle of "no where"! Although not the ideal situation, it could have been worse. (Funny enough, two years ago we got a flat tire in the same area on the Interstate!)

That is my worst fear...to be on the road in the middle of nowhere and get a flat.
Oh my. What a frustrating bump on your journey! I've been there....with car trouble....and 2 toddlers at a dealership for 7 hours. I feel for you!
