Harry's in St. Augustine

My family of four headed to St. Augustine for a little outing today. We wanted to eat somewhere that had good seafood and Harry's did not disappoint! It is a "New Orleans style" seafood/Creole restaurant.

My hubby ordered the Shrimp and Scallop Orleans which is served over a sweet grit cake, along with a side of red beans and rice.

I opted for the crabcakes with the side of smashed potatoes.

And my son ordered the kids fried fish with french fries and a kids salad.

For dessert, we shared a huge piece of Keylime pie.  Yum!

We opted for beer with our lunch, but there's an extensive menu of wine and cocktails!

Overall, the food was delicious! Seasoned perfectly, friendly service, and reasonable prices.  There is indoor and outdoor seating, but since the temperatures were cooler, we opted to sit inside. A nice combinations of blues and soul music playing in the background as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the St. Augustine area!

Amazing candy apples at Walt Disney World

Today, I was walking around Downtown Disney and happen to walk into Goofy's Candy Co. I was amazed at the selection of candy apples!

Ice cream shop at the France pavilion at Epcot

I knew the bakery in France had changed locations, but I did not realize that an ice cream parlor had opened,

L'Artisan des Glaces. (More: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/epcot/l-artisan-des-glaces/)

A friend introduced me to a new dessert there last week. It is a brioche stuffed with ice cream and sauce.

You pick your ice cream flavor,  then you choose either chocolate or raspberry sauce, and an ice cream sandwich is created in a brioche roll!

It's an awesome blend of warm and cold together… But more importantly is my two favorite things: bread and ice cream!

Trattoria al Forno at Disney's Boardwalk

On Saturday, the family and I had a chance to try out the newest restaurant at Walt Disney World, Trattoria al Forno.  I grabbed a picture of the outside, but didn't get any interior pictures.  (The interior of the restaurant has not changed that much since Spoodles, in my opinion.

The food was yummy.  Fresh, hot bread is served to everyone and olive oil is on all tables for dipping.

Caprese appetizer:

Fennel Sausage, Salame Piccante and House-pickled Peppers

We also tried the Chicken Breast alla Parmigiana - with tagliatelle $21.99 and the Pork Chop alla Milanese - topped with shaved fennel-arugula salad $23.99!  Both were plentiful and yummy!
